Test make-up and hair

Today I did my makeup and hair to see how this was going to look. These looks were based on the model but because I am now going to be a model myself, I wanted to see if this was also possible for me. I'm glad I did this because now I could still make adjustments if it didn't look good. Also I had never done such a wing eyeliner or created a wet look with my hair, and by doing a test I could practice

Hair:

Having watched a tutorial on how to do this, I knew exactly what to do. At the moment I only had mousse in the house and I will buy wax this weekend, so that it looks even wetter and stays in better shape. I am happy with the end result because it looks good and this is what I had in mind. I did find out that my hair started to curl when it got a little drier so I bring a brush, wax and mousse to the photo shoot just to be sure that I can touch it up when it doesn't look good anymore. 

Make-up.

The wing eyeliner  was very difficult to make because I did not have a thin brush. My model would do her own makeup and that's why I didn't buy it myself. Because I had to change my schedule, I don't have time to get this brush anymore. See picture below.  As you can see the line is not tight and it doesn't look nice.

This did not matter because I came up with a different solution. I have seen on the internet this kind of wing below and I thought I would give it a try. I think it worked out well and because it is a bit more unusual I like it more. This is what I will do with my photo shoot now.

The lips are not the right color because I had my makeup on all day. I will use a dark red lipstick for the shoot because I know that bright red will not look good on me. Also I will put on more foundation and contouring my face so it looks more glamorous.

I'm glad I tried this because these looks are based on my model. By practicing I was able to see what suits me better and make any adjustments. i'm ready for the photo shoot Monday.
