Tell me a story
The aim of this exercise is to tell a story of a potential idea that I have in mind for my project.
Something old, something new, something black.
What if we have the chance to go back in time and reinvent an accessory from the past with a touch of a trend from the 90s. Within fashion everyday is different. New trends are invented, but we also see old trends recurring more and more. The style of past decades as always inspiring, elegant, and magical which is why we see old trends coming back. Think of chokers, wide leg jeans and crop tops. These trends from the past have been re-invented and are making a comeback in a major way. The colour black never goes out of style. It's simple, elegant and sensual. This collection is inspired on the trends from the past with a modern twist with a touch of beautiful shades of black.

This text could almost be your introduction to the project! The visual you include here is also very revealing - looking at the design from, say, 1840, which is decorative and relatively impractical to the design in 2010, demonstrates in a way, how far society has come in terms of how it has liberalised and progressed. Is this something that you could discuss as part of later posts?
