Photoshoot outcomes

In my set project I am going to make posters as a branding and marketing strategy for my designs, therefore, I had my photoshoot today. What I paid close attention to is that the fairytale theme comes out best in all the photos. I also made a front photo with an apple. I did this consciously because I want to radiate a desire with this. A desire for new clothes. You can also see of course that this is from the fairy tale snow white. I also edited my photos more to make my theme stand out a lot more. The accessories I used you can see in my designs  and 1 design I could base on my own clothing. In that photo you can see I lost my head instead of a shoe.  Cinderella loses her shoe and because my designs are inspired by a fairytale with a modern twist, I opted for a hat. Everything is photographed at a castle. I also paid attention to the background so that it fits the theme better.  

I have chosen to shoot at four different locations. At the water, with a three. in front of the castle and the back of the castle. I have made 105 photos in total.

I have chosen this picture with my arm raised and my eyes closed. This photo radiated a lot more desire and that's why I chose this one.

I chose this photo because it looked a lot like a high fashion photo. My pose was good, my look was good and you can see that I am dropping a hat. In other images this turned into a black spot and I didn't have a good pose.

The exposure was good for this. You can see the shadow of the holes on my face and i felt i had a strong look. I also like the location better. A warmer background and you can see part of the castle

The sun was just right. It bounces off the back of my head making my hair glow. I also find it more beautiful that you do not see my face completely. There was just a breeze that made my hair fall much nicer.

I also edited my photos more to make my theme stand out a lot more. 

I have sent these photos to family and friends to ask what their first impression was. They all indicated that they saw a fairytale in this, along with the mysterious and  magical.

Editing

I have used the app PIXLR to edit my pictures. I first sharpened all the pictures a little bit. I did this via my photos on my laptop and afterwards under the heading "photo editing".

After this I used sponge  from PIXLR. I have slightly strengthened my face. I also made my pictures a little lighter. I used the app Koloro on my phone to do the entire photo in a red/cool tone. The presets I have used are: Koloro: KO02 + KO04 and Beauty BE02 and BE07. I cropped the photo with the hat with the holes so the focus remains on my face. I have done this by phone and pressed on the crop tab. I also smoothened my face through the app of beautyplus under the heading smooth.

Reflection

I am very happy with the end result. I have been creative with the location, makeup, but I was also able to process my designs and theme in my photos in a smart way.

The photos turned out very well and after the edits I find them even more powerful. My theme comes to the fore here and I have taken into account the light and the locations. By adjusting the colors and making the apple red / orange, these photos fit my theme even more.

Neither are we models or photographers and all photos were taken with a telephone, yet I think the end result turned out nicely. The photos are sharp, good lighting and strong. I have the photos as modern as possible because I wanted to have a modern twist like the one with the hat in the third photo.

So now I have a strong front cover and 3 photos for a poster. Time to start to create my posters and designs by Lucidpress.
