Final reflection - set project
All fairy tales comes to an end, and so does mine.
This project was a big challenge, but I learned from it, developed my skills but most of all I enjoyed it. I found this project much more pleasant not because I didn't like it but more because I now knew better how to approach my project and what was expected of me. I took this experience with me in this project. Because it was easier, I saved time because sometimes I spent a long time on a post. because of this I got more work done.
I also saw this in the positive feedback in my posts because of this I knew that I was doing better than last time. This gave me confidence.
I did a lot more research with this project than last time. This is because I had received feedback on this from my last project, but also because I was completely new to fashion design. This research has helped me a lot in developing my ideas. Also this time it was easier to do research, because I knew better what to look at. There is room for improvement in research in fabrics. I also think that I got lost in research and spent too much time on it. This resulted in too little time at the end of my project.
I have been able to further develop my drawing and painting skills. I also think that I should have drawn my designs much earlier. I had many ideas in my head and by not writing them out, it became messy and I no longer had an overview. This would also give me a lot more variety and choices about which designs I eventually wanted to use and through the weeks I could have made adjustments to improve my design. I will include this in my next project.
It was nice to have a theme in this project. I was able to get a lot of inspiration from this. My theme allowed me to go in many directions, making my ideas easier to develop. I am also satisfied with the photos of the photo shoot. Actually even more satisfied than last time. I was able to convey my theme well through the photos. I have been creative to incorporate my designs into the photos. The photos are powerful and support my collection well. Using hats was a life saver because I didn't have my designs in my wardrobe except for 1 outfit. Through the hats and accessories I have been able to promote my collection in a creative way. I like the little details like the apple and the dropping of my hat is a nice twist on my photos and the story behind them.
What I am most satisfied with are my posters. A strong layout with photo and catchy headings. I think the introduction next to my posters worked well because I find them powerful together with the photos. They briefly explain what my collection stands for, but it also contains a sales pitch in a fun way.
The only thing I could possibly change was the layout, but I liked that they fit together.
I see a big improvement from my previous project because now I knew more how to do it, but the research has also helped me more. It certainly needs improvement in several areas, but I cannot be too hard on myself and be proud of what I have made.
It was a race against time but luckily I was able to finish this project earlier than my previous project.
How I presented my work in flipbook I also think it worked out well. Last time I also worked with flipsnack, which made it much easier now and it resulted in less stress. Everything fits together well and I think I performed the designs and the marketing and branding strategy correctly

Very well considered and thoughtful reflection - you should be proud of what you have achieved - very well done
