Experimenting with my design

For today's lesson I had to experiment with designs, shapes or colors for my set project. I decided to look at my design that I had recently made. This design comes from my folio board under the heading design 2. 

With in mind often less is more. Because of this I shortened the back of the dress. personally I like my new design more. This makes my design a bit more casual but still remains chic. It is also I showed this to family and friends and found the dress more beautiful where the skirt is shortened. afterwards this is also much more convenient because the skirt that I drew I have something like that in my closet. I could possibly use this for a photo shoot.

I should see my design as a skirt and top instead of a dress. At first I wanted to use the pastel colors in purple but because my own skirt is in black I have to adjust this. I want to do the skirt black and the top in purple colors, maybe as a monochromatic theme from different shapes of purple. I'm going to test this first too see if it is as beautiful as I have in mind.
