Welcome back
Christmas break is over and it is time to get back to reality. Today was my first day of a new term and I am really excited!
In this new term I hope to develop myself in artist research. I would like to go deeper in details so that I can write even more extensively about the artists and therefore, I will learn more about them. Moreover, I hope I get even more inspiration from it and create new ideas.
I also hope to do more research in softwear so that my knowledge becomes broader and that I can apply these programs in my work.
Over the Christmas break I watched the well spoken serie Bridgerton set in 1813. I got inspired of the dresses that were made for this serie. Fashion designer Ellen Mirojnick made 7.500 costume pieces in just 5 months for this serie. These pieces are inspired on the 80s however they used nothing really from history but only the silhouettes of the period. They kept the style and silhouette of 1813 for the most part but, they have used more modern fabrics and more modern techniques. Inspired of many different periods of time they created their own style.
I like the fresh outlook on this period of history and the modern twists.
