Final post
For digital arts I created a blog and a website. In the beginning of this term I first created my blog. After a few weeks I set up my website. The purpose of my website is to showcase my work through my portfolio. On my blog I have to make posts about my process.
I made my own editorial for the first time. At first I was scared and insecure because I didn't know what to do. It was difficult at first but the research and feedback made me more and more confident. Even though I received a lot of help, I still needed to do many things on my own. This has made me much more independent and I figured things out by myself. Because of this I learned that you can learn a lot on the internet through research. My follow-up route will consist a lot of digital arts and through my major project I have already been able to experience a little what it is like and I am more prepared for next year.
Overall I am very satisfied with the first term of Digital Arts. I see a growth in my posts and I can see that I have already learned a lot from this. I also learned that research is extremely important and that you can get inspiration from various things. By keeping track of everything I did I have a good overview. I think I have posted my process on my blog well and extensively, and that the idea is clear what I was doing. I think the outcome of my editorial was very successful. I am proud that I was able to do all this, including the photo shoot, on my own without any professional help. I have finished my project before the deadline but it might have been better to finish my project 1 week earlier so that I only had to adjust small details in the last week this would save me a lot of stress. Also in the future I can use more photos for my editorial. I received feedback from my teacher Zoe that there should be more photos in it, but I never knew this and that is why I chose 1 photo.
In our fourth week of this term I received my own major project. For this I also had to do a lot of research for. In the beginning I had a lot of trouble how it all worked because I had to post my process on my blog. As the weeks went by, things got easier as we got feedback from Zoe on every post. This has helped me enormously because I had a better idea of what should be in my post. Every time I received feedback I immediately adjusted this on my blog. I did this because I kept a good record of everything and did not have to adjust everything in the end. I also did this because I learn from it and I can include the feedback in my next posts. Now I know that it is important that when I do research I have to asked myself why this relates to my project and write about it.. Also the research in software was really helpful because I was much better prepared when I actually started making my project.
I knew how everything worked and how I wanted it. Posting everything on my blog about my process gave me a good overview of what I had done and what I still needed to do. I could also easily look back if I no longer knew. I think the blog is a good preparation and I have learned how to approach a project and how to do it.

The website is a great platform to showcase my work. This will be a great way to show my work to people in the fashion industry because they will see my digital skills and portfolio. I also think that showing your work with your website, potential employers can find you. The chances are much higher because everyone has access to your website and it can also offer opportunities that you would never have thought of before.

So I had to make adjustments in two days, so it was better I finished my editorial earlier. The pictures of the photoshoot were okay. Unfortunately there weren't many good ones. Therefore I want to use a model in the future so that I can give good indications of how I would like it to be and give directions and I think this will help improve the photos.

Good that you have considered all aspects of the course - I think more reflection on what you could improve would be beneficial but overall good work
