Editorial adjusted - Major project

After I got feedback that my editorial didn't contain enough images I changed this. I took a good look at what my text was about and based on this,  I started to see which images I could use.

In the beginning I have an introduction that is about gold jewelry and therefore I used a photo where this is clearly visible. No distractions from faces, but the focus remains on the jewelry. I have used a picture of Cleopatra where you can see her jewelry on her head and arms well because I tell about this. With Beyonce, I chose the dress she's wearing on her album Lemonade  so that readers have a clearer picture. I also used a photo of 50 cents because you clearly see gold jewelry on it. I thought the photo of the unprocessed gemstones fit better in the editorial but did use a link from a website to buy gemstones jewelry For the 70s look I used a photo that clearly shows the style of the pants.

I have used a short title for all photos so that the reader can see what it is about.

I have added all the references of the photos below the other references.

Final result

Reflection:

Now that I've added the photos in my editorial, it looks much more like a fashion editorial. I think this is also much more interesting for the readers and they see sooner what my article is about. The photos reinforce my story and it is clearer to the readers. The photos are a good addition and it doesn't look messy. I also took this into account when figuring out which photos I wanted to use so that there is a coherence of the pages.

I am now much more satisfied with the end result and happy that I received feedback before my deadline so that I submitted a better editorial.
