Final result photoshoot - Major project

Today I had my photoshoot for my major project. We shot at different locations and took about 65 pictures. We first did some test shoots to see if the location was right. It was also quite difficult because there was no one who could see if my hair or clothes were still fitting and if the posture I was doing was right. However we did manage to make some great shots.

The camera settings we used are shown below in the image.

I thought these 2 photos were the best of the 65 we took. I happen to have the same pose on both, but they are made on 2 different locations. I chose today to do the photo shoot because the sun would shine unfortunately this was not the case. Still, I do not find this an obstacle for the photos. Unfortunately it was foggy today and that caused my hair to frizz and I find that a bit disturbing for the photo. We did some close ups so you could see the golden leaves in my face but unfortunately these photos were not successful. However I am happy with the end result

In both photos I like the background and match the clothes I am wearing. The background does not distract from the clothing. I did not want to use them both because they are too similar and it does not add anything. I am going to use the first photo for my photo shoot because I think this is more of a casual photo. The other photo I find my facial expression powerful, but I do not think it fits the concept of my editorial.

Now that I know which photo I'm going to use I am going to edit the photo. I first sharpened my face a bit as it was a bit blurry. I did this via my photos on my laptop and afterwards under the heading "photo editing"

The intensity is at 0.41, the edges at 0.43 and the decrease at 0.42. Now my face is a little sharper after this I blurred the letters a bit so that they do not stand out via PIXLR

After this I used sponge also from PIXLR. I have slightly strengthened the eyes and cheekbones in color so that my face stands out more.

After this I was satisfied with how the photo looked. I used the app Koloro on my phone to do the entire photo in a beige tone. I kept this as subtle as possible because I did not want it to look natural. The preset I used is PET PE07.

End result:

Reflection:
I am very satisfied with the end result. I have made some adjustments and because of this I find the photo more powerful and suitable for an editorial. Because I let my face come out more, I do not find my fluffy hair that disturbing anymore.
